The article has an interesting beginning, in the way that you do not entirely know for a moment if it is an animal or a human that is being discussed.
I like it.
The article gives a very emphatic and detailed life of Biff the boxer show dog, and the complicated industry that he and his owners are invested in. Although personally I know I would never become directly involved myself in the Show Dog industry I found it enlightening of the struggles of maintaining a dominant place in the competition and the simple joys the dogs can find within it.
The lightheartedness makes the article capable of being read by anyone with a decent attention span. Such as children (although because of the mating parts I am not advising it) or people who have had no exposure to it before.
